Matt Turner - CEO of Seeds Coaching

Thank you for taking the time to read my bio.  Hopefully you'll get a real sense of who I am, what I represent and how we may enjoy coaching together.

Whilst serving as a high school teacher, counsellor and stand-up comedian for over 15 years, I have had much success and enjoyment from helping people achieve personal milestones that stretch beyond academia or qualifications.  I've run businesses, entertained large audiences and mentored individuals in professional settings.

However, my interest has always been in the human condition and what it means to take our unique place in the world, based on our feelings, beliefs and values.

During much of my career, I have found that my most fruitful and mutually satisfying relationships have been helping women achieve their dreams.  Whether it be the student from the disadvantaged home, the single mother who needs a guiding light or mentoring new comedians and artists.

I guess this stems from the respect I have for the way my mother raised me. The sacrifices she made, dreams she gave up and struggles she overcame.  I also had a life changing experience whilst counselling a former student of mine (see my website page 'My Story').

Due to my background in counselling, commerce, and the arts, my mission is to help creative, artistic and professional women take their place in the modern world.

With this in mind, I would describe my coaching niche as:

My coaching is fun, supportive, positive, patient, compassionate, clear, engaging, challenging and based around accountability.  I follow the Co-Active methodology of coaching, which focuses on the person and not simply the issue.  I coach peoples purpose rather than problems.
